Contested Win Email
Sample of what a Pettit customer receives when two or more boatyards have each claimed a win on the same RFQ. Per PETTITROAD-70, the customer is the arbiter — they pick the actual winner, and the losing yards' rows flip to "Lost" on their dashboards.

Hi Nancy Foster, We've received win confirmations from 2 different boatyards on the quote request you submitted for Lighthouse. Each yard says they're the one painting your boat, but we know only one yard can be doing the actual work. Could you let us know which yard you actually went with? Your answer keeps our records accurate and ensures the other yards aren't credited for work they didn't do. |

None of the above?
If you went with a different yard, decided to do the work yourself, or are no longer painting the boat, let us know here and we'll close out this RFQ. The yards' claims will be flagged for review. |

Why we're asking
BoatyardConnect lets boatyards mark RFQs as won when they get the job. When two yards claim the same RFQ, we ask the customer (you) to confirm — that's the most reliable signal. Your answer is shared only with the yards involved and helps Pettit keep our network honest. |

This message was sent by Pettit Paint on behalf of BoatyardConnect 2 because two or more yards reported a win on your RFQ E-1056. If you didn't submit a quote request from pettitpaint.com, you can safely ignore this email. © 2026 Pettit Marine Paint / MRT Products · Sent via BoatyardConnect 2 |
